Catholic Education Week 2019
Jump Rope For Heart
Register and fundraise online with St Charles at JumpRopeForHeart.ca. Your pledge envelope explains how to do this. It’s an easy way to raise money and earn great bonus prizes! Mr Harris has put out a "Pie Face" challenge if we reach our goal. Event day is Tuesday, May 7th. Who will be the lucky 3 to pie Mr. Harris.
We Walk For Water
The students and staff of St Charles will be participating in a social justice walk specifically aimed at raising money and awareness for water. Our water walk, or WE Walk for Water, will be on Friday May 10 after 2nd recess (2:00pm). We will be walking on the sidewalks so students must have a "Neighbourhood walk" permission form on school day completed. Students are asked to bring in a toonie donation to go towards giving a developing country closer access to clean water, rather than having to walk far distances for unclean and unsafe water.
Looking For Volunteers
We are looking for some parent volunteers to help distribute pizza on Thursdays. If there is anyone available for approximately 30 minutes each week, please contact the school. Please note, all volunteers require an up-to-date CBC on file. Thank you!
South Simcoe Police Open House & Station Tour
- Saturday, May 11 - rain or shine!
- North Division 9:30 - 11:00 am (2137 Innisfil Beach Rd., Innisfil)
- South Division 12:30 - 2:00 pm (81 Melbourne Dr., Bradford)
We will also have community partners attending as well as specialized units in our service. (Identification Unit, Vintage Police Cruiser, Traffic officers, CommandPost, ATV's, Canine Officer and his dog - Nitro)
