September 14 Weekly Updates and Information
Published on Sep 14, 2019 12:15

Hello everyone,

Our staff and students have settled into routine well.  I’m happy to announce that our classrooms were able to remain unchanged, there will be no “reshuffling” of classes.  This allows our staff and students to continue with the forward momentum of learning that has already begun. Looking forward to another wonderful year at St. Charles!

~ Ms. Medve-Racine

Open House:

Thursday September 19 is our school Open House from 5-7pm.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, visit the classroom and meet other families.
Be sure to sign up on School-Day if you’d like to order  pizza or water to enjoy that evening.

PA Day:

Friday September 27 is a PA Day - no school for students on this day

Looking for Noon Hour Supervisors:

We continue to look for Noon Hour Supervisors to help us during Nutrition and/or Recess breaks.  All Noon Hour Supervisors require a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. If you are interested in this paid position, please contact Ms. Clouthier in the office.

Appropriate Dress:

Please note that ripped jeans and crop tops are not permitted at school.  Please refer to the Appropriate Dress Guidelines in the school agenda for additional information.

Toys:

We ask that students leave toys at home; this will prevent upset and disappointment over lost or broken items.  Students are encouraged and invited to bring sports equipment to enjoy outside at recess.

Catholic School Community Council:

The Catholic School Community Council meets regularly to discuss school issues. Our objective is to provide a caring, nurturing, educational environment steeped in the Catholic tradition. All parents are welcome to attend our meetings.
